Hi everyone. It's cooled down a lot in Melbourne. We had a few rain-soaked, high-humidity days followed by some hot and dry sunny days. So we've had some ups and downs but today is the middle stratum of weather: overcast and cool. Lovely weather for peeing and pooing in the street.

After doing my business, I like to watch my owner pick it up. He thinks he's the one in control but who, pray tell, is picking up my poo? I'm certainly not going to pick up his... not that I've ever seen him poo in the street, mind you. Hmmm, he must poo and a completely different block, perhaps on his way to the shops.

I noticed another bike in the garage the other day. Not too shabby.

My left hip has been giving me some trouble over the past couple of days so we've just been taking it easy and doing 'half-walks' through the laneway and back. I try and eat all the rotten apricots but Pete pulls at my collar before I can get near them. I need to find a way to distract him.

I'm trying to look all deep and pensive, when really I'm just trying to figure out how to get that apricot in my mouth.

This is me waiting for Pete to take the stupid photograph. I just wanted to pee, geez!

I'm usually in pretty good spirits after the walk: it's feeding time!

This is a very exciting and tense moment for me: just prior to the giant food storage bucket being opened.

When I get home from a walk, the first thing I do is pace around in circles licking my lips.

Geez! Pete, can't even focus on my handsome - and might I add, lustrous and fluffy - face.

  1. Well done Champ thanks for the update. Sorry that your hip is causing you a bit of bother. Let me tell you if I was Pete I would let you have a couple of apricots (that is only if they are not too bad for you) My theory is that as we get older there are some things that we should not have to worry about and that we should just be able to enjoy ourselves.
